Dirk Paterson explores universal narratives often bringing biblical stories into radical modern settings. His work is designed to be an immersive spiritual as well as visual experience. These works tell the stories of all our lives not hiding from the challenge and mess but also celebrating the fun in the human experience. His painting practice draws on the input of local artists and recent study at Glasgow School off Art.
